Hayden Arp:
Hayden Arp is an artist whose music is intimate and electrifying in equal measure. With a distinctive lyrical voice, a commanding stage presence and a fearless appetite for switching genres, he has won over audiences from his native US to his adopted home of Vienna. Raised in the greater Washington D.C. area, Hayden is a self-taught composer, songwriter and performer. He released several records between the ages of 11 and 17, then went on to study composition and music technology at the renowned Oberlin Conservatory of Music. The years that followed brought the EP For Gabriel (called "tingling, gorgeous" by US magazine The Fader) and nine US tours. In 2020 Hayden moved to Vienna — the fourth generation of his family to call the city home.
He has since become a mainstay of the Vienna music scene. His 2022 album With Eliza was reviewed in the Märkische Allgemeine Zeitung and Kulturnews, among others, and his 2025 single Coming Up For Air climbed to No. 3 in the FM4 charts. He is currently at work on a new album in Vienna's second district, with the first single due in spring 2026. At Loftival he performs his songs with a full band.

Ian Fisher:
For 18 years now, Ian Fisher has been a fixture of the Vienna music scene. The singer-songwriter from Missouri left his home state at 21 to roam around Europe — and Vienna never quite let him go.
His music brings together a rural Midwestern upbringing and a dark finesse earned on tours through Europe, Africa and North America. Simple in sound but emotionally layered, Fisher carries the raw intensity of early Jeff Tweedy, the melancholy of Townes Van Zandt and the political bite of Billy Bragg. He has written close to two thousand songs and released more than twenty albums, and Rolling Stone described his music as a world traveler's take on American folk rock.
Before he heads out on his 25th-anniversary world tour in 2027, Ian Fisher is doing what he does best: standing up alone with his guitar and playing. For Vienna. For free. As befits a city that has become his home.
